Car Tax increases ?????

Hi,

I'm trying to find out how much my car tax is due to go up in the next few years, and despite spending a fair amount of time searching on various websites haven't managed to find a listing that has car types in one column and corresponding costs in the other. I have no idea what the CO2 emission from my car is.

I'm getting a bit nervous about it as I drive a 2.2 Vectra and suspect that it's all going to get quite expensive.

Also, when do the increases kick in ?

These are the figures that will be used by officialdom to calculate VED rates.

Also, to be absolutely sure, for any car registered since 2001, the official CO2 figure is on the V5.

Luckily, my 400 g/km Jeep is registered in 2000 and not subject to this 'greenwash'.

Thanks for the info, it looks like I'll be stung for £260 (ouch). Still, it'll encourage me to do lots of miles so that I get my money's worth!
