| | Basic Account Customer | dvla refused to give tax refund i recentley road taxed an old car so that i could transfer the reg no to my new car , after applying for the number transfer the vehicle being taxed for a month i sent the disc back fo a refund , weeks went by without any word from them , i telephoned them twice , was told its being delt with , eight weeks after sending the disc they send a letter to say no refund because a new disc had been issued at time of number transfer , my position here is that they had had my tax disc for 4 week before issuing other one i did not want a new tax disc i had scraped the car and returned the red doc by this time , i wanted a refund for 5 months road tax , i wrote them a letter but no reply , i now want to take them to small claims court to get my refund , any help please |
