Getting extra from Sky @ end of contract

Hi

Our Sky contract is due to end in the next month or 2, basically i would like to know if anyone has managed to get their monthly bill reduced and any extras thrown in, if you state you want to leave sky for X amount of reasons.

Also how to go about achieving this? I have already emailed them, however i have not heard from them yet.

You won't get any offers by email, they would just process your cancellation.

Your best bet to get any reduction would just to state that due to the current credit prediciment you need to lowere your outgoings and sky will have to be one of them but you have to be prepared to go all they way and not to stall.

I Think u might get a sky plus box like if you stay just ask them all they can say is no good luck

i have emailed enquiring when contract is up as thinking of leaving, unless there are any deductions available.

I try not to phone as every time i do i get cut off, when in a queue, or get no help at all. Ending up with a large bill. Which Sky have already refunded twice!

a sky+box would be great.

Dispite being told to email you still have?

You will not get any offers from email as its not the right department. Sky can afford to lose customers so you will be hard pressed to get anything.

They messing me about with my phone line since Jan 09 and will not offer anything as compensation

idax is correct on this matter however your probly not going to get squat however why you still emailed i dont know you have been advised not to as they will only process the cancelation
