Default Just a quickie-Sky box problem

After having problems with sky billing I decided to cancel. The switch off happens begin Jan and I told them I would just use the box as freeview, outside contract so should be ok.

Any how as soon as I got confirmation of cancellation my box has started to act oddly. It keeps giving me a warning it is going to standby and click to cancel it doing it.

Just coincidence or is it possible sky have sent a message to it. When the man kept saying wont you miss sky trying to persuade me not to cancel, I said I wouldnt miss the tv so no, next the box acts up.

Hi,

Sky or Sky+?

Sky+, if you cancel your contract, you cannot even access anything that you have recorded previously and, as I understand it, cannot use as a Freesat box; for this 'privledge' they will charge £10 per month. I believe that the £10 per month charge also applies to use a conventional Sky box. They have you by the 'Short and Curlies'!
