Anyone Dealing with Weightman's/HFC?

I'd fallen behind with payments to Weightman's, but have not heard anything from them for a while. I sent them a CCA on Thursday and as yet i've not heard anything from them. The CCA is not yet recorded on the Royal Mail website yet either. Out of 5 CCAs sent only Weightman's and NDR haven't signed for them. (I suspect NDR are messing about from what other people have said.) Has anybody had any recent dealings with Weightman's?

I was going to S.A.R HFC (the debt Weightman's were dealing with for last 2 years at least). Not sure whether i should 'awaken the beast' as it were or wait for them to contact me. What does anybody else think?

If i leave it, it just gives me more time to pay off other things, but at the same time i always worry these companies are planning something horrible when they go quiet!!

If you have sent your CCA requests by recorded delivery there is no guarantee they will be delivered. If you only sent last thursday then give them the time to reply. If you want guaranteed delivery then you will need to send by ' Special Delivery' guaranteed next day.

It is up to them to comply with your request, not for you to worry about it.

I would not send the Subject Access Request until you know what is happening with the CCA.

The RM website is often very slow to update.... try 'phoning the number on the back of the rec. delivery slip.

Thank you both. I just find it strange not to have heard from Weightman's for such a long time. We shall see.....
