| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? Sorry, another question as there is something I still don't understand. Will the Subject Access Request request provide me with copies of the original agreement or should I get this by sending the CCA request as well?
Thanks.

| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? As far as i am aware it will only get you your statements/list of charges. Did you request a copy of the original agreement in your original S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) letter ? |

| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? Curlychic,
No, I didn't ask for this. Perhaps I should have done.
I don't quite understand this bit, but I think I'll send it anyway as it's only a £1 postal order.
I am convinced that Lloyds TSB charged me for credit card cover I didn't agree to, that's why it's important to me.
Thanks for your help.

| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? Hi Fred
I am glad you got a responce of sorts now you can go forwards.
I know what you mean about Royal Mail, you pay for somthing and don't get it ie: signed for delivery you can check.
Your letter looks fine to me, more or less the same as I'm going to write, but I think I'll add a line like "If any data has been destroyed I require a copy of the certificate of destruction signed and dated at the time." or something along those lines. |

| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? Thanks lazybones,
Everything you've told me so far has been good advice. Can they destroy data that is less than 6 years old?
I don't think think the over 6 years stuff is a problem for me mind, all my problems started in the past 3-4 years, so I should be OK.
I've sent Lloyds a CCA request for my credit card account as I think they've pulled a fast one.
Cheers.

Yes they can destroy data when ever they like,so I understand, but they also have to make sure ALL copies of that data, to who ever they have passed it on to has also been destroyed |

If you think thats easy just look and see who they pass your data on to, there is a link somewhere on this site that will enable you to find out to whom they are entitled to pass that data on to,
YOU WILL BE SUPRISED |

| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? Hello again lazybones. I've just nipped over to this thread and spotted your latest replies.
Does this mean that if they can't produce a properly executed agreement, that they can't share the details with the credit reference agencies?
I haven't posted my CCA yet, I was going to put it in their pre-paid envelope and let them pay, but I'd rather not give them any room for manoevre, so I'm going to send it by track and trace instead.
Cheers.

| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? That is a very good question. To which, I am sorry, but I do not have an answer.
I don't blame you for not using their envelope, as you say best to be able to keep track of it |

| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? Evening all, I have a question regarding Lloyds Select Accounts. Me and my Wife ended up with one of these, for which we paid a monthly fee. The thing is, neither of us actually remember signing up for it. How do you get information on these types of account? It doesn't seem to be the kind of thing covered by a CCA - will it be covered in my Subject Access Request?
Cheers, and a happy bank holiday weekend to all.

| Re: Lloyds Tsb - Will They Play Silly Buggers? Well it's D-Day today as far as Lloyds are concerned, not that I'm expecting them to comply.
Here's a useful hint for anyone not that familiar with the internet:
Sign up for one of CAG's email accounts, they're excellent and include everything you need to keep track of your threads and actions. I like to keep my CAG email correspondence away from my usual stuff (I'm not hiding anything but it just keeps me focussed).
I've been using the calendar to mark the date and other details of when I send stuff and when it's due back, using the priority 'High' for the compliance date - the item then turns red. It helps me get organised. They're only £6pa, they're web-based as well and it helps support this wonderful site.
Regards.
