Default Debt paid but no receipt

Hi Guy's

I am hoping the someone can offer some advise.
I have paid of a outstanding debt which I had for a PC. It has been fully paid via Wescot however I have asked them to send me a letter/receipt to show that the debt has been cleared, so that they can't get back at me in the future which from reading up on them them will try if they think that they can get away with it.
I have called them five times and have asked for this to sent, each time they have said that one will be sent and have confimed my address with them.
This has been ongoing for over 3 months now I am getting a bit angry with them

Any help with be great.

Lee

Thanks for the quick response, just a quick question.
Do I have to pay them to £10 for this? If so can I claim it back? because I don't want to pay them for a recepit for my payment of the debt which I feel that I should have got anyway.

Cheers
Lee

How did you pay them - do you have proof?

If you paid by Standing Order, then a record of that transaction will be on your bank statement. I believe that this will still count as a receipt for payment, in much the same way as buying goods over the internet would show a debit/credit card transaction on your account.

So whatever you do.... don't lose it !!
