Default Taking on lowells at their own game?

I now have a court order for costs against Lowells as a result of the clowns failing to turn up at an application to set aside an SD. It's enough to be enforceable by the court bailiffs. Has anyone done this yet, i.e. issued a warrant of execution against a DCA? Might be funny to see the bailiff walk out of the Lowells office with a PC under his arm? I might just copy one of their letters and send it back to them first saying what will happen if they dont pay!

Cheers.

If you really want deflate their egos you can apply for a garnishee order & freeze their bank account, see; Garnishee Order

Definition (UK specific)

A court order instructing a garnishee (a bank) that funds held on behalf of a debtor (the judgement debtor) should not be released until directed by the court. The order may also instruct the bank to pay a given sum to the judgement creditor (the person to whom a debt is owed by the judgement debtor) from these funds

I recall that thread - think it was 1st Credit that eventually had to pay up. Must be so satisfying - how I would love to do that!

Forumreg1 had a similar experience with Lowell recently but they paid up before it went too far, Advice Please! - SD received from Lowell/RED but credit files are CLEAN!**WON** the last page or two of this thread.

A bit of publicity would be a good thing (if you are not shy) and even your local rag would be a good start. Certainly inform your MP as this is gradually becoming a political issue.

The nationals probably won't be interested unless there is death, sex or political incompetence, anti EU propaganda or an amusingly shaped vegetable involved.

Go get 'em.
