Default Statutory Demand help please

Hi all ,

I recieved a stat demand from 1st Credit last June.
I didnt act upon it and nothing ever came of it, and a am now in court defending a CCJ from them.

Questions......

How legal is the stat demand a year on ?

could i produce it in court to demonstrate open threats from 1st Credit

finally - does anybody have a Stat deman ( pref from 1st Cred) that they could scan and upload for me ( with personal details blanked out) so that i can compare it with mine and therfore assertain how genuine it was.

Thanks in advance.

I also received one from 1st Crud and I beleive its a breach of OFT rules as they are imitating court documents...at the endof the day show it to the judge....he/she may not be aware this sort of thing goes on and it makes them look bad.....
Have 1st Crud not written to you asking to settle before the hearing?

NOt yet - but only got the court date yesterday and they have asked for a month to come to an arrangement with me in their AQ

SO if they dont get in touch then its just something else that i will use to prove cruds unreasonableness

Im with you on the breach of OFT guidlines - jut wondered if their were others out their i could compare with - i suspect it was a useless scare tactic by first crud but as they never followed it through and went for ccj instead
