There is nothing in law or statute which states that CRA's have a right to retain your data for 6 years when either the agreement is terminated or no longer exists.
In fact it's not even required if your contract lasts only 1 year after which you could demand it be removed
It's just a cosy little rule dreamt up by them to satisfy their clients which they will claim is their right in law.......but when challenged to produce evidence of this
right/law they usually back down & remove the data
Therefore I would also demand the CRA remove it forthwith
