Freemans debt sold! wrong name on letter?

Hi guys

I received the following letter...

Dear Miss L XXXXXXXX

IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT

As you will be aware, as at June-2007 there was an outstanding balance of £97 on your account. The account was being managed on our behalf by EOS Solutions UK Plc.

We are writing to notify you that the balance of your outstanding account has been sold to Albis on June2007. They will now be responsible for collecting the money due on your account and they have decided to leave the account under the control of EOS Solutions UK plc.

All future enquiries and payments regarding the above account should still be addressed to:

Well.....

I have made payments to the account so I thought it was fine
but was has tickled me about this letter is that it is addressed to Miss L XXXXX my first name begins with J? screw up on their side?

is this right? or am I reading to much into it - eg they cant get my name right and not much else either?

I would be tempted to hit them with a CCA letter, make them prove that they have a right to collect on your debt.

anyone can produce a letter saying they are allowed to, but I would make them jump through a few hoops of your own
