Default Council Tax Arrears - Setting up a payment plan

I have recieved a letter from the Sheriff Officers with a statement of account, which totals £2447.76.

I am looking to set up a payment plan, and I think £120/month would be manageable at the moment. My question is, who do I speak to regarding this, the Sheriff Officers, or the Council directly?

And do I want to do this over the phone, or in writing?

Thanks in advance,

Tino.

Hi,

Mine's is about double yours

Deal with the Sheriff's Officers, is it Scott & Co, if so, I'm paying them £100 per month, but they want more

I'll need to get in touch with them to up it.
You should be fine offering £120.

Good luck with that.

Regards.

Scott.

Aye, that's the ones. So just phone Scott and Co up and offer £120 a month payment?

Yes, that's what I did.

They wrote to me about two months ago saying £100 was not enough, but I've noticed they're still taking it.

Regards.

Scott.
