Anyway as we know a lot of Judges just dont understand the law.
A case i was working on.
The claimant did not file any evidence with the defendant and the courts refused to make the claimt do that. When CPR was mentoned the judge said what is that? | Thats incredible, how can a judge not know of the Civil Procedure Rules?  |

i would bet a tenner on it that there was some failure to follow procedure on your friends part GM that lead to the issues in hand. I also have difficulty in believing that a District Judge knew nothing of the CPR, ALL District Judges are qualified lawyers and would have grounding in the CPR and also would have access to things such as Blackstones or the White Book etc so its inconceivable that was the case.

Perhaps it would be good to have a general type of thread were everyone concerned with legal/general debt etc could express thier general views.
Dont know how to achieve this but there is definately a need for it judgeing by the amount of these typs of posts?
