Default property valuations? I rent :-(

Hi all,

On my experian report it keeps showing property valuations on my credit file. I rent though, I've NEVER had a mortgage and the information for the properties they are saying I am in are wrong anyway - saying semi-detatched when I live in terraced or flats etc. What is this about?

Maybe I should ask them why it is there?

I would, even if it is for peace of mind, let us know what they say.

There are property valuations on my Equifax report, not on Experian or Callcredit though!

My experian one hasn't turned up yet, by my Call credit doesn't have it, but Equifax one does. Hmm.

So much for information having to be accurate

You could consider emailing them to say that the property type and valuation are both incorrect and that if they are going to publish information, they had better get it right ...
No need to tell them what the correct data is, just what is wrong

Everyone doing that might tie them up. That is one thing they can't claim they can't change without the data owner's permission!
