Default co-operative bank - advice please

Hello, i am new to this forum and like alot of you, I have been experiencing an overload in bank charges and i have been with the co-operative for over 20 years!!!

I am about to send my request for my bank statements, do i write the request to the head office or to my local branch?

As I am deaf, talking on the phone to them is near impossible and they can be so condenscending it is incredible and then i pay them for that pleasure!!!

Appreciate any assistance

thanks Jan

There's a contacts sticky at the top of the forum for each bank, so I'd guess at:

The Data Controller
Cooperative Bank
Delf House
Skelmersdale
WN8 6NY
UK

Thumbs up Re: co-operative bank - advice please

Thank you very much .It is encouraging to know that they are replying within the timeframe. So I will wait until i hear from them, hopefully before they put any restriction in place to the amount they pay back!!!

Many thanks again

I would recommend dealing with Balloon Street as Skelmersdale are pretty useless and your statments will come back from Balloon Street.

I took my Subject Access Request in person and was 'invited' into see the branch manager - really enjoyed it especially when I asked him for a receipt and he said "Don't you trust me", expect you know what my reply was!!!
