Default Co-Op messing us around

i am trying to obtain my wifes statements from the Co-Op. The first letter I received from them contained a print out on blank paper of a list of debits/fees/interest. this was obvioulsy just a ploy to throw us off the scent. So I photocopied it and sent it back with the letter template informing them it was not what i asked for and that I want the statements. I re-enclosed the £10 cheque.

I recevied no response so tofday I sent them the letter template giving them a further 7 days or I was going to make a claim against them.

We got in from work tongiht and had a letter waiting for us. The letter says that no letter was enclosed from us, just the copy of the doc they sent me. Thats total rubbish. I rememer enclosing everything. They are quite clearly messing us around.

Any advice on what to do. Should I respond to this letter or just hold out for seven days and then issue the claim against them?

all help greatly appreciated.

Default Re: Co-Op messing us around

as such, the S.A.R - (Subject Access Request) only has to result in a list of charges, not the full statements.
[that's the way i read it, there are threads on this in other lists]

however, take the day you sent them the Subject Access Request as day one, & write to them that you would prefer the full statements if possible please. by day 40 their time is up.

sending out just the list is a new ploy being used [see other threads in this group]

decide what you wish to do, but be clear and firm.
it reads that you have already sent a letter which moved the goal post? hence they ignored it.
if i remember rightly the other in this group that just got the list, got staements after being firm, or just got them by issuing 14 day warning.
