Action Taken Against Co_op Credit Card

Just thought I would let you know my progress with this one so far. Sent out email and letter on 7th requesting repayment of charges incurred for late payment on my credit card( which incidentally I only got to transfer a balance and was meant to be a way of saving money!!!)
Received a letter from them today, 13th April saying they will look into it and it will take 10 days or more.
Regradless I will be sending out my LPA after the 14 day period. Will keep you posted.

Hi,
I received a letter from the Co-op today saying they are going to refund my charges in full!!! Howveer they said that they will refund them on next months statement ointo my card.
As my balance is clear this would mean having to use thw card to get the moeny and wait another month. Do you think this is a delay tactic or should I accept(baring in mind I am due to do my money claim on line tomorrow)? Am inclined to accept but ask for a cheque asap?
Any advice?

Thanks for noting all this on the forum: I've just sent off my LBA to the Co-op Bank for charges on my ex-visa account. It's good to have some encouragement! Just out of interest, how much did you manage to get back? I'm looking for about £315.

Hi

I got £385 from my co-op credit card, so yu should be fine. They will probably make you an offer long before court action. Best of luck and let me know if you need any help,

Carly
