Unhappy cooperative bank errors

hi
On the 15th of may 2007 I transferred the total amount of my account from my cooperative bank account to my 360money account because the cooperative bank sent me a letter saying they was going to close my account
when i did the transfer they said it would take 4 days well thats ok
so on the 5th day i checked and yes you guessed no money had been transferred so I phoned the cooperative bank and after 3 phone calls they admitted that they had sent it to the wrong sort code and it would take four days for them to get it back and then another four days to clear in my account but by yesterday the money had not got back in to cooperatives account so i went mad and said I want to speak to a manager and told him that it was thier fault that this had happened and i wanted the money back in my account this did happen but becuase the account was closing i said could you do a CHAPS transfer to my NatWest account and they said yes but it would cost me £25 so I paid £25 for something that if they had done the first transaction correct I would'nt of had to do
well when the quy read the details back to me he had again got it wrong

i think all this was becuase i had put in a claim for my bank charges
so is it really worth all this hassel just for a couple of hundred pounds or is this what they want is to grind us down

Hi all
Im in the process of starting proceedings against the uncooperative dating back to 1996, I have all my bank statements so can proove the charges with CI add up to £28k, had an offer of £900 which I refused so will be starting a new thread soon, If of any interest to anyone Ive just discovered that I have around 15 letters from the Co-Op informing me of insufficient funds etc dated from Jan 1997 to July 1998, the signature is all of the same font with the job title underneath, If they are of any use to anyone I will get my hubby to scan and post them on the forum....GC
