Now that you've started proceedings, did you send the schedule with the interest added? You should also send a copy to MCOL with the Court Claim reference number mentioned at the top of the schedule and also mentioned in a covering letter asking them to add the schedule to your file.

5 days from yesterday, the Bank will be deemed to have been served. This is where the first 14 days period starts. They must acknowledge in that time.

If they do acknowledge, then that buys them a further 14 days, making it a total of 33 days from when you filed yesterday in order to submit a defence.

If they haven't settled by then, the court will send you the AQ - Allocation Questionnaire - that you complete and have to send back to them within 14 days.

Have a look in the FAQ section or Step by Step guide for more information about it. It's late, and I'm tired otherwise I'd hunt the information out for you.

If my post has helped, please click the scales at the top right corner of my post as acknowledment.

Thanks and Good Luck.

Yes I've sent another copy of the charges to the Co-Op but not as yet to MoneyClaimOnline. I'd better do that asap then

Address it to The Court Manager at the MCOL address in Northampton.

Update,
Had call from Co-Op on Friday, lady asked me if the case would be transferred and that they never received my 2nd letter (bad move as I have proof of receipt)
Not really sure what game their playing.

I wonder how far they're going to take your case. It's probably cost them several hundred more in interest by letting it go so far.

Did they ever make you an offer before you filed?

No offer was made prior to me filing claim with court, but on the day I received letter from court stating 'acknowledgment' I also received letter from Co-Op...........

I have today credited your account with the full amount claimed, interest and costs etc.

Strange thing was, no mention of goodwill gesture etc, also shows on my account as........Adj Commission. No mention of confidentiality either.

As close to an admission as I've seen?

So, for the sake of about a fortnight, it's cost them soooo much more in costs and interest.

Makes you think really, what's it all about!
