Hi All,
first posting in this particular forum, previous postings in lloyds forum. Sent Data Protection Act letter to co-operative bank for information on charges for a credit card i had with them. The account is no longer with co-op, they have sold it on to a debt collection agency event though i was keeping up with the agreed payment arrangements.
Received letter of acknolwedgement from Janet Evans, customer advisor, (22/06/06) confirming reply will be received withi 40 days

rsent off prelim approach letter for £240 plus interest. Letter came back from co-op...the usual sorry you are not happy with our service but..tough. sent off LBA for £240 plus interest. Received letter yesterday from co-op who have agreed "as a goodwill gesture" the £240 i am claiming. but nothing for interest.
I wont actually see the cash, they have paid the money directly to Equidebt who they sold the account to. Its still a victory though, and £240 less that i will have to pay to these guys. I am still going after the £52 in interest though, plus i know have to contact equidebt and make sure they have received a payment of £240 from the co-op
