| | Basic Account Customer | Newcomer needs Advice re different charges with co-op Hi Everyone.
I sent my s.a.r. letter and have received a pack of my last 6 yrs statements.I have gone through all the charges.
Can I claim back the service charges ? These are applied when you go over your agreed overdraft.(£25.00)
Can I claim for daily excess charges? (£15.00 per day)
Can I claim for commision?
I imagine that the subscriptions I can't claim back?
Can anyone please advise. It would be much appreciated. Thanks.

| | Platinum Account Customer | Re: Newcomer needs Advice re different charges with co-op Hi - take a bit of time to read up first to make sure that you have the facts before going too far ahead. Read the FAQs and template letters then have a good read around here to see how others are getting on. Keep any progress on your own claim or questions that arise in a new thread in the forum for your bank to make it easier for others to follow and advise you. There's a set of links in my sig below that will help you find where all this useful information is. Well done for getting started!
Apologies for the slowness of the site today - recent publicity has made us very popular!
Penalty Charges that are directly related to going outside the Ts&Cs of your contract with the bank in respect of your authorised overdraft facility (i.e. exceed your limit) and that are higher than the real cost to the bank of those breaches are reclaimable. Commission, ATM fees, and other fees for services
incurred in the normal running of your account cannot. So, the first two you listed can be, the last one can't.

| | Site Team | Re: HELP needed re daily interest on moneyclaim form Hi Team
Daily interest is worked out by:
Amount of charges X 0.00022 = Daily rate.
This is without the court fee and interest at 8%.That goes on afterwards.
Hope this helps

Any advise appreciated. Thanks | Hi the days since the offence are qorked out by entering the date of charge on the spreadsheet. Then entering todays date on the spreadsheet. This gives you the days since offence and interest amount.
Why have you sent 3 LBA's? There is no need please follow the correct proceedure you run the risk of them not taking you seriously.
