did you include the £10 payment?

You could write back to them saying thank you for the info they've sent yu, but you're still waiting for [everything you asked for here] and they now have xx days left to comply.

You can count their 40 days from the day they received your request and fee.

Just an update on my case so far.

S.A.R sent 14th June
Statements recieved 29th July
Prelim letter sent 9th August requesting total of £1733
Reply recieved 15th August asking for 7 days to respond
NO response in the 7 days!!!
LBA sent 25th August
Reply recieved 28th august saying they would contact me within 7 days be it by email, letter or telephone
Letter received 7th Sept asking for 6 weeks to investigate in full.

It seems to be a standard letter that they are sending out asking for 6 weeks.
I am not sure whether to send them a letter saying that I am realise they will be busy and am willing to give them a further 7 or 14 days to refund my money or whether just to go ahead and file my claim. Are they generally taking the 6 weeks to settle? Has anyone left it for the six weeks and not filed claim?

becks x

I am in the middle of filing my claim online. I have done the spreadsheet to calculate the 8% interest but when they ask for particulars of claim and it asks if you want to reserve the right to claim interest. I have ticked yes and now it brings up a paragraph i have to include in my particulars and asks me to put in a rate of daily interest up until the claim is settled. I am not sure what I put in here. Can anyone help??

There's a formula to work it out, but the way I did it was to check my spreadsheet on one day and make a note of the total including interest. On the following day, I did the same and noted the difference. That's the amount I placed as my daily rate. Mine is £0.45 per day.

Hope this helps you.

Bexsta, the daily interest is worked out like this:

[Amount without spreadsheet interest] times by 0.00022

e.g
400.00 x 0.00022 = 0.088 So, the daily interest rate is: 8p

Hope this helps!
