We took on Comet and won!!

For those of you frustrated by Comet:

Some of you may have read my thread on what happened when we bought a washing machine from Comet. To cut a long story short, rogue machine, constant breakdowns, water damage to kitchen. Successful in getting F.O.C replacement machine but it was installed by muppets who took a hammer to my cabinets braking away the doors then they broke off pipes under the sink leaving me with no waste pipe,no waste disposal unit and broken cabinets. Waste water had to drain into a bowl which I constantly had to empty - I am disabled and have a spinal impairment. Comet claimed all my fault! However I battled with them and their claim handlers and finally this week the repairs were carried out. New pipes, cabinet and functioning kitchen. It has taken from 27 December 2006 to 16 May 2007 to get a result but take heart it can be done!

ouch, by the way it should be noted that installations are not done by comet but an external company. but comet should have atleast employed the services of a expert installation external party and not muppets.

honestly why would any company employ vandals. hopefully comet drop the contract with these installers
