CCA - signed when I was under 18

Hi,

This is my first post and not sure if it is the right place. I am currently in a DMP with the CCCS. One of my creditors is CitiCards. I know that the original Credit Agreement was signed when I was under 18. I am now 30.

Would you suggest that I ask to obtain my CCA. I think I read somewhere that CCA requests may put DMPs into jeopardy. They have frozen all interest and charges currently. Would the agreement be valid, if I was under 30 - even though the debt was obtained when I was 18.

Any advice anyone can give would be appreciated.

Do you live in England/Wales or Scotland?

Which means it is very unlikely that they still have a copy of it.

Your DMP won't stop payments on the basis that there is no copy of the credit agreement.
