Does anybody have a list of the % APR over the last few years - the printout they have sent me doesn't detail this.

At the time of the charges I was on a 0% interest for 6 months but that was 5 years ago so for the last 4.5 years I could add CCI to this if I knew them

There should be a figure on your statements below the transactions section. It will read something like:

Purchase Interest 1.085%
Cash Interest 1.074%

Once you have found the figures, type them into this calculator, the part half way down on the left. That will give you the APR. Don't use the spreadsheet as it's for bank charges only.

There is a later version this link will take you there.

Thanks but I don't have copy statements, they simply gave me a printout of month by month transactions & balances.

This seems to be the way they are sending out info now, just printouts and not statements, if you really do not have any old statements you can either use the rate published on their website or give them a ring and ask them to confirm the APR 0800 9524914.

received offer letter from them last week, usual line of our charges are just (at £20) etc etc, but goodwill gesture we'll refund you the charges only.

Should I go for the interest too ? it was included in my original request for repayment , and of course the Data Protection Act £10 fee , these 2 figures almost double the claim ?

Without doubt martynh99, go for the interest, at best you will get paid out in full, worse case scenario they will repay all purchase interest you have paid on the account, either way you can't loose. If you do not claim the CCI all you will get is 8%.
