Hi All

This lovely institution screwed me for charges when I lost my job despite me informing them of my circumstances. I am looking forward to this!

My account is now back to normal and has been for a few years. Can I ask them to charge the £10 Data Protection Act to my account?

You can - but they can use it as a means of delay in compliance by sending forms for your to sign etc. It is far better to send a cheque or PO, and be sure to send by recorded delivery.
