I have received my statements from capital one and jave worked out all they owe me bar the interest. i was wondering when you are using the spreadsheet templates do you have to include all your transactions i.e when you make a payment, incur a penalty or do you just include the penalty charges levied against you??

Hi Graeme - when I did my Cap One s/sheet I included just the penalty charges levied, AND each 'Purchase Interest' ammount they charged, from the point in time when the balance on the card would have been zero had it not been for the charges they had previously applied. Hope that helps (and makes sense!)

Graham, have a read up on Contractual interest and claim it back. They have charged you this on each charge. Good return if you use your APR instead of the 8% at the court stage.
