hi everyone,
want to take on cap 1 to try claim bk credit card charges. problem is i dont know wat my credit card number was..does any1 know how i can get round this and find my number ect?

Send an Subject Access Request giving your current address and previous address if it was different when you held the card, the sar is for info they hold on you, not any particular account, they may send you a form to fill in and ask for ID, if they do send it to them asap.

brilliant, thank u ian will be sending that off this weekend! do u know if capital 1 fight or give in quite easily when it comes to claiming the charges?

With mine they have offered to refund everything over the £12 'allowed' by the OFT report, I have just written back politely declining their offer, have a read of the Cap One forums, particularly the successes, Each claim is different.
