Default Brecks hubby & Cap One

Hi All,

Hubby contacted Cap One via Debitas making an offer of payment, he sent incoming, outgoings ect, he also stated he wanted them to correspond by mail, cos he had had numerous phone calls from them, up to 5 a day ( although he didnt answer all of them, cos we have caller display)

Any way he made them an offer, set up a standing order, but still they keep ringing and now he has recived another letter saying if he doesnt call them within 72 hours they will send round a local collector.

he is not the best person when it comes to talking or arranging things, normally lets me deal with things, but they wont speak to me cos the account ( credit card )is in his name.

any advise on what to do next.

he can allow you to deal with them if he signs a consent letter allowing you to deal with his affairs.

Has he had charges applied to the account?

Yes, Lots of charges.
My point is should they be calling him all the time, even though he has asked them not to.

Brecken,

Look in the templates section there is a letter for harassment Harassment by telephone - response letter

This should assist you.

I assume that you are about to start the process for claiming the charges back.

Good luck ............
