Default Help with Vamps Credit card spreadsheet Please

Hi everyone,

I am just trying to fill in Vamps CC spreadsheet (advanced) for my claim against Capital One.

It says that for each statement date you need to total all the charges instead of listing them by charge date etc. On some of my statement dates I have multiple charges - so what info do I put into the 'Details of Penalty' column? To write in all the charges would mean the spreadsheet is way too wide to print properly, so can I abbreviate somehow or do they need to go in as stated on the statement?

Many thanks

Chopski

1) try printing it Landscape....
2) abbreviate the charges and add a "key" at the bottom so LP = late payment etc

Hi again,

Wonder if anyone can help me understand these spreadsheets?

I am trying to fill in Vamps Complex Credit Charges Spreadsheet. The first bit I understand (the charges section), but the section on interest I am struggling with as the numbers don't seem to work out - basically I think I am doing something wrong but not sure what!

The heading are:
  • Interest Charged - I am filling in the interest amount shown on that months statement.
  • Statement Balance - I took this to mean the total balance on the card at that time - is this correct?
  • Amount Paid - this is where it got confusing as the notes make it quite hard to understand - Do I put the amount paid in as shown on that statement, or is it something else??
  • Remaining Balance - I have been filling in the amount left to spend as shown on the statement - however the spreadsheet seems to want to calculate it automatically as: 'statement balance minus amount paid'?? Which isn't the same thing.
  • Penalties chargable to interest - is this just the charges from that month, or do I put in the cumulative total?
Sorry to sound so stupid!! But very confused - Help!!

Thanks,

Chopski
