Default cap one Help Please

hi all , been going throu the stages to claim back charges for the misses , for £280 they have offered £92 and i sent them the letter saying wil only accept it as part payment , then sent them LBA , now have just receive letter from LOWELL as cap one have sold them the debt , can i still submit small claims to cap one for the remainder of the charges , and can cap one sell the debt even thou i have been disputing the charges with them.

any help appreicated

Hi Razorc

The account is in dispute by the looks of things. You need to contact Lowells and explain that to them. Let them know the date it became in dispute. Also you can still put in a claim for your fees against Capital One.
Did you claim any inetrest on the card account?..

hi thanks for reply , ye a phoned LOWELL and told them its in dispute , they noted it on there system , what interest the 8% ?

No..the Contractual when compounded would give you a larger return on your charges when they refund them. If you worked that out from your statements and filled in the spreadsheet, you could use the actual APR they have charged you, on each charge. Some people here have had an APR of 30% + added to each charge. Cap one have paid it as well.
