Default Capital One Question - Closing stages

HI Everyone,

I am in the closing stages (hopefully) of my claim against Capital One. I have filed the MCOL and the 28 days will be up at the end of this week.

Looking at other threads on here they seems to pay up directly into the card account so I keep checking my balance.

My question is: assuming they do this for me what should i do next to cancel the MCOL?

Just wrtie them a brief letter saying....
Your happy the matter is now resolved & you have been paid the full amount owed.
Quote a few references (from mcol claim ref name address etc) and that should be all!
Other than that...
I would surgest to also followed that up with a phone call.

Check with what other people say on hear just to be sure....

Good luck i'm sure you'll be quids in soon!

They will write to you an offer before they pay you anything. Once they have offered the full amount, and you have not only accepted but received cleared funds, you write to the court and advise you are withdrawing the claim as the defendent has paid in full. This not only lets the court know you are withdrawing your claim, but also lets them know the banks are still wasting court time.
