Default help capital one hell

please helpi sent both letters requesting 100 back they sent me a cheque for 40 so i decided to take them to court for the other 60. the have acknoleged claim and have now told be they intend to defened is this normal

as far as i am aware you should be recieving an offer soon, from what I have seen they will achknowlegde and then pay up.

I haven't had the pleasure of capital one achknowledging my claim and they have till next sat!!

Yeah, it appears that this is there normal way, My claim was acknowledged 26/10 . Today, MCOL altered stating that a defense had been entered, reading through other threads this seems to happen and a letter turns up with an offer for the full amount you're claiming. I suppose their defense is if they've paid you, there's no debt.

i can't really add any more, I've just started with Capital One (just need to post initial letter!).

I just wanted to say rhianweir that from personal experience, the first time going through all this was bloody hell, esp with reams of stuff from solicitors and some other unnecessary issues around it (I won't open that can of worms..!). But I got through it, and I realise on hindsight that I just needed to keep the faith, and eventually got a very useful cheque eventually!

What's the worst that can happen, really? That you won't get your money? Has anyone doing this NOT got their money?

Good luck, be patient, and look forward to that cash.
