Default Cap One - silent. Not a peep.

I have sent both prelim and LBA now, yet have not recieved any response or acknowlegdment. Should I be worried? Is this normal? I am concerned because there seems to be no standard contact address agreed upon by the forum for capital one correspondance.

Hi Darth,

Don't worry, I received a response to my prelim letter a week after I had sent the LBA. Their timesclaes are rubbish!

When your LBA timescale has expired, file a claim with the court. I did and they offered full settlement before filing a defence

I got a reply to my LBA after I had sent a second LBA. Strangely even though they ignored the 2nd LBA and said "oh you must have missed our first correspondence when we gave you £80 goodwill"....they still mentioned it and said sorry we see you still aren't happy from your letter dated...

They also mispelt a few words. I think the work experience kid on half term got to type the letters......sorry....I meant no offence to anyone doing work experience.

Darthbane2K...keep at it. You know you will win and so will I. This is probably the most amateurish outfit so far. My neighbour at work took a call and afterwards said "Is this the level yo uare dealing with?". Cap 1's worker said "Is blackrain there eh? yeah? no? oh right so wrong number yeah? oh cheers mate! no worries yeah yeah"

Goldman Sachs should start worrying.

I had the same happen...

Received a letter today "from" Mr Udy, thanking me for the letter (LBA) and advising that the original letter referred to (Pre-Lim) was not received. They will do everything they can to get back to me with a response within 4 weeks...

I will therefore wait for them to investigate the matter... Yeah, right!!
