Hi am looking for some help please,I phoned cap one a week ago requesting statements for last 6 years with much surprise i received them this morning,haven't even sent them the £10 for them.Anyway my queiry is on my statements the charges are listed as.

Overlimit fee charge
late payment fee charge
purchase interest
cash interest

Can someone please tell me what charges i can claim for,to be honest i am sick of them and would love to get them off my back,but when you are paying £50 per month by standing order and getting charged £56 this looks impossible i am also being harrassed every week sometimes 2/3 times a week by them phoning me.I would even be happy for them to just clear my account and let me get on with my life without being scared to answer a phone,but know they owe me more than that.Sorry if i have been going on a bit but i just want to get rid of this horrible company.

	Are you letting your bank keep your money Are you giving away thousands of pounds?? Many people aren't claiming all of the money they are entitled to when they make their bank charges claims. You have been forced to pay unfair bank charges. Have you forgotten that your bank has charged you inteest on those charges? If you are overdrawn and the bank owes you charges - then your overdraft is made up of charges - money which you bank owes you. Yet you are paying interest to the bank - on your own money!!! Hi Livelylad
Sorry for the delay in posting to thank you for your advice.Hubby has just completed the prelim letter with all charges and was really shocked as it totaled about £1500,so will get it posted off tomorrow and see if they respond as quickly as they did with statements.will keep you posted of any developments.
