Default TO MODS: This is Utterly Confusing and We NEED a Sticky

Sorry Mods,

I dont mean to be rude, but upon browsing through several threads in this CAPITAL ONE section of the forum, I have found no less that FIVE different addresses that have been mentioned in relation to sending Prelims and LBAs.

We need clarification and a sticky to state SINGLE addresses for each stage of the process in claiming against Captial One (Credit card).

We need clear clarification of addresses to send:

1) Subject Access Request
2) PRELIM
3) LBA
4) MCOL - when putting address of defendant who we are claiming against.

If we get this done then it will reduce much of the wasteful threads being opened in this forum.

I've already started action against the Halifax, using some very useful step-by-step instructions and links to templates etc.

I've now come into the Capital One area to start action on that account, but have to agree that it's confusing when the same sort of info is not at the top of the threads as a sticky.

I have spent a few weeks going through info and threads before starting with the Halifax, I now understand the procedures as they were clearly laid out to follow.

Can this not be done for Capital One, so we are all following the same procedure please?

Just send the letter to the address on your statement - it will end up in the right department anyway.

I would say, more important is that we get their address correct when submitting to MCOL . Can we at least have confirmation of that?

well I sent in a prelim and had NO response from Capital One, which is strange. The LBAs will go today.
