Join Date: Sep 2006 Posts: 3	Capital Deposit Refund Hi, I'm new to this site but would appreciate help from your members. My wife opened a Capital One Card account for which she sent a £200 security deposit. After many months she now has other cards and as she has a balance of £193 she asked Capital One to take this from her deposit and send her the balance then close the account. They have refused, saying that she must pay the £193 and then they will refund the £200. I think this is unreasonable and quite obviously a ploy to keep customers paying their interest for longer. Has anyone else experienced this? And if so how did they deal with it?
