Thumbs up Lucycat vs. Capital One

Hello all!

Having had such a positive result earlier this week I'm keen to press ahead with pursuing some of the other charges the bloke has had applied to various accounts over the last few years, starting with Capital One (erm, among others - I've had my most productive Sunday afternoon for years!) :O)

S.A.R. will be off in the post in the morning - wish me luck, and I'll keep you posted!

Lucy.

Thanks Tinkerbelle (correctly spelled this time, sorry about that!) - it's amazing how one success spurs you on, isn't it? :O)

Thumbs up Re: Lucycat vs. Capital One

Statements arrived this morning, and it's looking as though on Monday a Prelim will be winging its way for £340.

Very tempted indeed to go for contractual interest on this one - have chickened out so far but am feeling a bit fearless today!

Prelim sent for £340 on 25th - I chickened out on the CI in the end, but am spending all my spare time reading up on it for the next one (look out MBNA - heh!)

Thumbs up Re: Lucycat vs. Capital One

LBA dispatched on the 8th and was v. promptly delivered to Cap One on the 9th Nov., and a desultory - oops, I meant 'goodwill' - offer of £136 received this morning.

As with other threads I've read, they've offered the difference between the original charges of £20 and the £12 default fees 'the OFT believes are likely to be fair'. Bless.

So, will be sending the 'thanks but I'll still be going after the rest' letter off this afternoon (not that I expect anything back before in the meantime, but must think positive!), and then it looks rather like I'll be off chez MCOL again...
