Re: Eunice West v Capital One Letter received today from Robert Udy, Executive Office Manager. Basically its all about they're information on my credit reference file, the t & c's etc and how they are within their rights to disclose the information. Nothing said about the information I have requested in the Data Protection Act - Subject Access Request. Written back today Non-compliance template letter no. 1. They have 10 days left to comply.

Re: Eunice West v Capital One Received letter re claim offering me a full and final settlement of £120 and to go away. Now my problem is this: I owe them £441, my claim is for £313, they have offered £120. At the same time NCO have 'bought' this debt and I have sent them a CCA 1974. Shall I say thanks you to cap one for the money, and continue against NCO (hopefully to get the debt cancelled), therefore making me in profit for £120. If I have made myself clear. Anyone got any ideas on this pls.

Re: Eunice West v Capital One Ok have written back rejection of offer, and have received another offer back, which comes to 90% of the total claimed. Due to financial situation and xmas coming I have decided to accept the offer, and have signed and returned the acceptance slip, although I shan't be getting a cheque at least the total owed will be reduced and that is a good thing to happen anyway. Thanks all for your support. Another one for the filing cabinet.
