It would be difficult to go into court for the contractual interest alone, someone here tried and it didn't go down too well. I will see if i can find it. .

I haven't cashed the cheque yet, What if i return it and carry on with the full amount.

You may be thinking of this Contractual Interest - Precedent - LOST

However, it was not the fact that he went for contractual interest alone but that it was on the wrong basis. The Sempra case which is now the precedent for contractual interest was a case for contractual interest alone.

Ah yes i remember that one as well. The one i was looking at is here:

Forteboy Vs Capital 1

It went to court and contractula interest claim was turned down, Capital One turned up to defend.

Should i leave it then as i still got nearly £200 or should i return the cheque and carry on claiming all of it.
