Capital One request for Doctors Note?

Hi all, just a quicky question, Cap One have asked hubby to get doctors note, to enable them to continue with an arranged payment.

Cost for doctors note £10.00 he is not working and has'nt done so for 4 years now.

All thoughts please,

Is he on sickness/invailidity benefit? If so, they would probably accept statement from DWP

Hi Steven, No never ever claimed anything, had a minor heart attack and diabetis in 2004, and as he was 58 his company made it very difficult for him to stay on so he just retired early. Irronically, yesterday we just been informed that his old company has gone into liquidation and now we won't be getting anything from his pension fund.
