Capital One bank address same as Capital One credit card?

Does anyone know if the Data Protection Act address for Capital One Bank is the same for the credit card?

Well I had a good look on the net and found that Capital One Credit card is issued by Capital One Bank. So it made sense that the address to write to would be the Legal Compliance Department, so I went ahead and sent a revised version of the Data Protection Act request letter to them at that address.

I have received a reply today from Capital One asking me to send a tenner for the Data Protection Act information I have asked for and told to send it to following address as she (Katherine Blunt) deals with requests for information under the data protection act 1998:

Capital One Bank is Capital One Credit Card. Capital One is mostly a credit card company in the UK. It's in the US that they're a major bank.

Sorry to barge in one your thread, relative newbie can't remember where to start a new thread.

Capital One have sold my account to AIC in Glasgow even though the account has been in a DMP for 18 months! They have now started with the threathning letters! I was waiting for Barclays account to be sorted(declined prelim offer last week ans sent lba) before tackling the credit cards. Do I send CCA to AIC and Subject Access Request to Capital One?

I only have weekends to do this, full time employee, 2 kids !!!!!

Got my 400 pound back from Barclays. Found it quite easy. Lloyds are playing hard ball.

I wish to claim from Capital one as well. Balance of around 700 (not bad for a limit of 200) mostly charges.

However, the account was passed to an agency four years ago. Do I still contact Capital One for the Statements, and if so would they still hold the info and supply it as I do not know the Account Number.

Orangeman- you need to start you're own thread with this...It's easy enough to do....Who's the DCA? You need to CCA them in the first instance
