Question Capitol One, here I come

Hi everyone
Have been reading this site for a long time but this is the first time I have posted.

Like eveyone else have gone through the letter stages with Cap One and no joy (£40 refund - nowhere near the £570 they owe). Have now decided no choice but to make a moneyclaim - problem is, where do I find it? Any help and advice would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
Bobby

Just looking through another post of yours and noticed that you had gone straight to LBA. Is that the case on this account?

If so, you should issue another LBA, slightly reworded to show that any initial offer is not accepted as full and final, and this is their last opportunity to settle before court action.

Since you have previously been advised about FAQ's, I will not repeat it here.

Smile Re: Capitol One, here I come

Hi Jonni
Thanks for the advice, I appreciate you taking the time to help. I did send the Prelim letter and letter before action, but all I received was the offer of £40. Have just sent my final letter to say £40 is totally unacceptable and I shall commence legal proceedings (although afraid like others, I will have to wait for pay day to do that). Will come back and post how it is going. You guys have helped so many people like myself who just wouldn't have known where to start on all this, and it really is appreciated. I think I was trying to run before I could walk, but have read and read and read........ and hopefully has finally sunk in.
Cheers
Bobby

Good news. Many of us have to wait for pay days to start the action, myself included, although it was only a few days, as luck would have it.

Will keep watching for updates
