What i keep wondering is what the OFt will do, apart from look stupid that is, when the actual charges presented in court turn out to be less than £12 per go as they surely will?

Hopefully with regard to the OFT bank enquiry, they will set the figure at lower than £12.

Unlikely.

The c/c charges used to be £20 to £25, and the OFT intervention threshold got fixed at £12.

It is highly likely that if the principle, as the OFT says, is applicable across to bank charges, by their own logic, they will set the intervention threshold to a level relative to the existing charges of £30 to £39, so I would imagine around the £20 mark.

Hopefully, I'll be proved wrong.
