Default Cahoot Address? Coventry or London?

Hi,

I've been reading these boards for inspiration for a while now, but have a question.

The address on all paperwork from Cahoot is Friars House, Coventry. However, at the bottom of my last letter from them it says..

'Registered Office: Abbey National House, 2 Triton Square, Regents Place, London, NW1 3AN'

I am currently claiming against NatWest and was told to use their registered London address, so would Cahoot be the same?

Sorry if the question has been asked before.

Kenny

I'm local, so I hand-delivered Cahoot DP request to Triton Square, where it was accepted over the desk and fulfilled very quickly. Did same for first letter requesting refund.

If you happen to do this, don't bother looking for Triton Square itself - the main building faces Euston Road so go to their reception there.

I think the registered address is always the better option - shows you've bothered to find it out and that therefore you're serious? Or perhaps I'm over-analysing!

I went for the registered address. I saw Chimera had a lot of trouble with the address she was given.

Tiny bit of extra info: yes, Triton House is accepted as the 'address for service', but any letter you write to that address has to be forwarded by them to Coventry - I spoke with Coventry on the phone yesterday and they said that sometimes letters can take "weeks" to arrive in Coventry.

Therefore strongly suggest claimants serve papers to Triton House in London, but correspond with Coventry!

(by the way, my signature seems to have disappeared, along with the option to edit it in the 'user cp' section above?)
