Default Taking it to Cahoot

Greetings all,

I just filed my MCOL against Cahoot today after 28 days of virtually no contact from them. I had one email initially ('sorry you're not happy blah') and then the standard letter ('do not agree the charges are unfair blah blah') so I emailed them a day or so before the LBA expired (I even emailed my LBA as well as posting it to them). It was just a friendly nudge to them asking for payment before any court action and still no peep from them. Okeydokey then, it's MCOL all the way.

It's not even that much either, about £240 in charges from an old loan that I paid up on earlier this year. Still, the longer I have to wait the more it's gonna cost them.

The clock is ticking...

I filled in my MCOL yesterday for money owed to me by cahoot. I intend to take it all the way then close all my accounts with them as they have just shown how much they don't care.

Good luck.

Okeydokey, had the Notice Of Issue from the court today, it will be deemed served on the 23rd Sept, they have until 7th Oct to reply. At least by filing using MCOL, I didn't have to send anything onto Cahoot relating to my court claim, I'm sure that is simply a delay tactic.

Dave, good luck with your claim, and good luck to everybody else who is after their money back from cahoot!

Okeydokey then, after being away for the last week I get home and find a nice letter from Cahoot... And a cheque enclosed for the full amount plus court costs! All it took was the MCOL to get a response from them. Result!

To the rest of you still fighting Cahoot, don't give up, you'll get there in the end!

KJ
