Default Fizdup Vs Cahoot

I have used the "contact us" bit of the cahoot website to request a list of all the charges that Cahoot have levied against me over the past 5 years.

I recieved the following email:
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Dear Mr. Byrne,

Thank you for contacting cahoot in Coventry.

You will receive a list of charges in the post shortly in the post, as requested.

Raj Dosanjh,
cahoot
Who would you rather be in cahoots with?

TRACKING NUMBER: A00002444293-00007287081

Has anyone else recieved such an email and is it true? Have they actually sent the information?

Yes, I did. You were lucky, it took loads of emails before I got that one, mainly they bleated on about paying for statements and all sorts.

yep.. i got my staements sent to me no problems... I also sent all the letters via e-mail (saves on stamps)... Funnily I sent three seperate e-mails for each account at first. and recieved 3 very different replies... lol.. so when I got fob off letter I sent them all three letters in one e-mail plus breakdown of charges. Just to give them a hand.. sent LBA via e-mail too...

service.relationship.team @cahoot.com

That's the e-mail for the people to send all correspondence to.. I also sent them a secure message from the website telling them I had indeed sent them e-mails... just so they couldn't fob me off, by telling me it wasn't secure, and I'd have to write!!

Good LUck!

Cheers for the info about the email address, that'll come in handy,
Out of interest, did you just write them a plain text email or did you attach a word file?

Plain text. I did not want to give them any excuses for not reading it. I can just imagine.

"I'm sorry Abby, we cannot open word files therefore we cannot honour your request."

you know, I would have thought that a bank that did most of their work through the lovely internet would have been able to use a wordprocessor.
How many £30 charges equals a copy of WORD?

Barstewards, the lot of them

I have recieved my list of charges for my current account and credit card.
The total amount is:
Current account - 14 times £30 (unauthorised o/d charge) = £420
Credit card 8 times £25 (charge for late payment) = £200

Now I need to decide if I make a claim for both of these at the same time, or separately. If they were both bank account charges (or if they were both credit card charges) I would be happy to request a refund for both using either this (for bank accounts) or this (for credit cards).

Can I request refunds using the first of those two letters and putting the creditcard number in in place of an account number?
