Kev, I will thank you for the compliment, but believe me when I say by the time PK WALKED me all the way up to Piccadilly only to find out that the train I was ctching didn't stop at my station I felt about 92 lol.
Anyway had a lovely evening it was very nice to meet you and the others.
Just like to add if any one hesitated about coming because of the thought of meeting up with strangers. Don't let it stop you going on the next do, it doesn't feel like you are with strangers at all. |

I feel really poorly - worse than I've ever felt in my entire life and Steve said I'm banned from drinking wine when we go out in the future, I've got to drink corona instead cos I don't get too pis*ed on them!
I've just managed to lift my head off the sofa half an hour ago - been doing the dying vomiting swan all day
But regardless of the hangover, it was worth it to meet you all last night. I had a lovely evening with really lovely company and a great atmosphere. In fact, I enjoyed it that much, I think we should do it again! *hic*
And Steven........... thank you so much for being a gent! (hubby said it's far more than I deserve though - apparently, it was no fun whatsoever carrying me upstairs last night!!)
Thanks again for a great night everyone, it was lovely to meet you all and I had a great night. xxx |

| Re: CAG NatWest Forum Members - Manchester Meet Up (all other members welcome) !! who said we got pi#hed?
I felt perfectly fine - by 4pm (after 18 holes of golf and a full roast dinner)
Wheres PKea - he cant be suffering still?
I thought Hedgey was the model of personal behaviour (at some point at the night )
Enaid - how the heck did you get back then? taxi? (and thats enough of train services up peoples ends - might get painful)
Hedgey - reason you felt bad was the fact you had to drink wine from a plastic glass - obviously tainted your drink
but will definately have to meet up again in the not too distant future |
