Everywhere's a long way out for Lula... and me! Would definitely need to consider accommodation in my case, unless it was within easy reach of Plymouth. Depending on when it is I might be able to help you out there Lula.

nowhere in Cornwall is easy for Plymouth, except Saltash.
on top of that, it would involve trying to negotiate the raodworks at Dobwalls... in the summer...
bad news.

But Cornwall is t'other side of t'river. Ah well might need to spend some money on accommodation then. Geography never was my strong point.

Don't blame Crusher. This was all Spicey's idea. Can I suggest that it's before the school hols start. Would 21st June, the summer solstice be a bad idea for a date?

we are basicaly left with August.. a shame 'coz July is nice because it isnt so busy.

Looking at the diary, 1st August sound good?

August bank holiday is noooo good for me.

or we could do one at the end of May (31st) ... the weather can be really quite good at that time of year..

edit... sorry caro, posted before I read your post.

TBH end of May is better for me, but I thought it might be considered too early. Might be best if it isn't bank holiday weekend.

It's not that BH is bad for me Crusher, it would be brilliant, but I imagine the world and his wife will be heading to the coast that weekend, and from anywhere north of Bristol there's usually the most dreadful tailbacks on the motorway.
