Sounds like a plan to me.

Do you have anywhere in mind? I seriously would love to see Edinburgh as my dad was brought up near there for a few years and have wanted to go for ages. Might even consider a few days break there if I can persuade OH. I have a few celebrations next summer, and this would be great.

I'll have a wee chat with Jen about this. I do have an idea, but I want to run it past an Edinbugger first. If not, we've got fantastic parks here, and it's just a quick train though to Auld Reekie.

When are you thinking?

Robert, it appears someone stole my mobile and answered your text with some gibberish about a lapdance, I can't think who would do such a thing, ignore it, you know me, I couldn't possibly have said (or done) such a thing!

Glad you lot had such a great time, Manchester was a much more quiet and subdued affair.

Sorry about that. I approve of pedantry, btw.

Loads of outsidey places in edinburgh and, unlike glasgow, the polis let you drink out in public! I think the obvious is princes street gardens but there's also the meadows, the waters of leith, the botanical gardens or (if you want a barbecue with a view) we could do arthurs seat (not suitable for wheelchairs though, in case that's an issue).
