Do you have anywhere in mind? I seriously would love to see Edinburgh as my dad was brought up near there for a few years and have wanted to go for ages. Might even consider a few days break there if I can persuade OH. I have a few celebrations next summer, and this would be great.

I'll have a wee chat with Jen about this. I do have an idea, but I want to run it past an Edinbugger first. If not, we've got fantastic parks here, and it's just a quick train though to Auld Reekie.

Edinburgh sounds like a plan, I've been to Glasgow already. It was great, but I've never seen edinburgh.

Loads of outsidey places in edinburgh and, unlike glasgow, the polis let you drink out in public! I think the obvious is princes street gardens but there's also the meadows, the waters of leith, the botanical gardens or (if you want a barbecue with a view) we could do arthurs seat (not suitable for wheelchairs though, in case that's an issue).
